Ohio High School Basketball - Northmont crushes Butler
January 13, 2024: Clayton, OH 45315 Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Butler Aviators (Vandalia, OH), 74-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Northmont upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Thunderbolts travel to Wayne (Huber Heights, OH) to clash with the Warriors in a Greater Western Ohio bout on Friday, January 19. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Wayne lost 42-41 in their recent non-league bout against Lutheran West (Rocky River, OH)
Next up, the Aviators clash with the Greenville Green Wave (Greenville, OH) in a Miami Valley - Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Green Wave go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 81-20 league loss to Tippecanoe (Tipp City, OH).
