California High School Basketball - Northgate overwhelms California

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Northgate Broncos (Walnut Creek, CA) and the visiting California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA), saw Northgate's basketball squad wallop California by a count of 63-42.

With the victory, Northgate upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Broncos host Miramonte (Orinda, CA) to play the Matadors in a Diablo challenge on Monday, January 15. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Miramonte lost 67-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Archie Williams (San Anselmo, CA)

Next up, the Grizzlies play the Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA) in a East Bay challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. California will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 67-61 non-league win over Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA).
