The Central Grizzlies basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Washington Union Panthers to 55 in the Grizzlies non-league victory on Saturday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clovis North for a Tri-Rivers contest on Tuesday, January 16. Central will battle a Broncos team coming off a 78-66 non-league win over Jesuit (Carmichael, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 15-5.

The Panthers (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Reedley (Reedley, CA). The Pirates come into the Tri-County - Sequoia contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Reedley dropped by Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA), 82-30, in a league contest.
