New Jersey High School Basketball - Tenafly nips Cresskill
January 13, 2024: Cresskill, NJ 07626 Tenafly Tigers (Tenafly, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cresskill Cougars (Cresskill, NJ), 71-64 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Tenafly upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Tigers host Teaneck (Teaneck, NJ) to play the Highwaymen in a Big North - National bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Highwaymen go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Teaneck won 61-60 in their recent non-league bout against East Side (Newark, NJ)
Next up, the Cougars play the Bogota Buccaneers (Bogota, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Patriot B bout, on Monday, January 15. Cresskill will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 74-60 non-league win over Eastern Christian (North Haledon, NJ).
