Arkansas High School Basketball - Germantown fells East Poinsett County
January 13, 2024: Lepanto, AR 72354 Germantown Red Devils (Germantown, TN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR), 53-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Germantown upgrades its record to 14-9 on the season. The Red Devils travel to Houston (Germantown, TN) to clash with the Mustangs in a 4A District 15 bout on Friday, January 19. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 13-9.
Next up, the Warriors clash with the Rector Cougars (Rector, AR) in a 2A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. East Poinsett County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 57-52 league win over Earle (Earle, AR).
