Ohio High School Basketball - Eaton nudges Edgewood
January 13, 2024: Eaton, OH 45320 Eaton Eagles (Eaton, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Edgewood Cougars (Trenton, OH), 58-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Eaton upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Brookville (Brookville, OH) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye bout on Friday, January 19. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Brookville won 80-52 in their recent non-league bout against Twin Valley South (West Alexandria, OH)
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Talawanda Brave (Oxford, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Edgewood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Brave go into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 57-41 non-league loss to Taylor (Cleves, OH).
