New Jersey High School Basketball - Roselle Catholic nips Franklin
January 13, 2024: Roselle, NJ 07203 Roselle Catholic Lions (Roselle, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Franklin Warriors (Somerset, NJ), 55-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Roselle Catholic upgrades its record to 2-17 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Gill St. Bernard's (Gladstone, NJ) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 14. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 7-5. Gill St. Bernard's lost 51-50 in their recent non-league bout against Kennedy (Paterson, NJ)
Next up, the Warriors play the Timothy Christian (Piscataway, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The come into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 65-54 league win over Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ).
