January 13, 2024: Glennallen, AK 99588 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Valdez Buccaneers (Valdez, AK) and the host Glennallen Panthers (Glennallen, AK), saw Valdez's basketball squad wallop Glennallen by a count of 71-23.
With the victory, Valdez upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Unalakleet (Unalakleet, AK) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Unalakleet lost 64-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Scammon Bay (Scammon Bay, AK)
Next up, the Panthers play the Tok Wolverines (Tok, AK) in a 2A Interior challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Glennallen will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 62-33 non-league loss to Colony (Palmer, AK).
