January 13, 2024: Wallington, NJ 07057 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wallington Panthers (Wallington, NJ) and the visiting Harrison Blue Tide (Harrison, NJ), saw Wallington's basketball squad hold off Harrison by a tally of 42-35.
With the victory, Wallington improves its record to 1-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Midland Park (Midland Park, NJ) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 15. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Midland Park lost 48-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Park Ridge (Park Ridge, NJ)
Next up, the Blue Tide play the Weehawken Indians (Weehawken, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - National challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Harrison will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 60-51 league loss to North Arlington (North Arlington, NJ).
