The Washington Hatchets basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the host Jasper Wildcats to 32 in the Hatchets non-league victory on Saturday.

The Hatchets now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Princeton for a Pocket contest on Friday, January 19. Washington will battle a Tigers team coming off a 46-35 league win over Southridge (Huntingburg, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 11-3.

The Wildcats (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Forest Park (Ferdinand, IN). The Rangers come into the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Forest Park was nudged by North Posey (Poseyville, IN), 63-54, in a league contest.
