January 13, 2024: Union City, NJ 07087 The Union City Soaring Eagles (Union City, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Kearny Kardinals (Kearny, NJ), 61-38 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Soaring Eagles (4-7) will now prepare for their test against J.P. Stevens (Edison, NJ). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, J.P. Stevens walloped Piscataway (Piscataway, NJ), 63-54, in a league test.
The Kardinals now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Beloved Community Charter for a Hudson County - National test on Tuesday, January 16. Kearny will encounter a Owls squad coming off a 61-57 non-league loss to American History (Newark, NJ). The Owls record now stands at 3-9.
