Massachusetts High School Basketball - La Salle Academy edges St. John's Prep
January 13, 2024: Danvers, MA 01923 The La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) basketball nipped the host St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA), 70-66 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Rams (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Patriots go into the Division 1 test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Portsmouth was tipped by East Providence (East Providence, RI), 53-48, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Catholic Memorial for a Catholic test on Tuesday, January 16. St. John's Prep will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 87-69 non-league loss to Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA). The Knights record now stands at 8-1.
