Missouri High School Basketball - Vashon thwarts Rainier Beach
January 13, 2024: St. Louis, MO 63106 The Vashon Wolverines (St. Louis, MO) basketball knocked off the visiting Rainier Beach Vikings (Seattle, WA), 70-50 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (9-4) will now prepare for their test against The Burlington School (Burlington, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 17-8 record. In their last test, The Burlington School went down by Greenfield (Wilson, NC), 49-43, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Seattle Prep for a 3A Metro test on Wednesday, January 17. Rainier Beach will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 84-76 non-league loss to Davis (Yakima, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 8-8.
