Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Academy Park fells Sun Valley

January 13, 2024: Aston, PA 19014

Academy Park Knights (Sharon Hill, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA), 47-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Academy Park upgrades its record to 2-11 on the season. The Knights travel to Chichester (Boothwyn, PA) to clash with the Eagles in a Delaware Valley bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-9. Chichester lost 75-27 in their recent league bout against Penn Wood (Lansdowne, PA)

Next up, the Vanguards clash with the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights (West Chester, PA) in a Ches-Mont - American bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Sun Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Golden Knights go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 58-47 non-league win over Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Flourtown, PA).
