January 13, 2024: Fairhope, AL 36532 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Bay Tigers (Bay St. Louis, MS) basketball squad felled the host Fairhope Pirates (Fairhope, AL), by a margin of 42-22.
The Tigers (17-5) will now prepare for their outing against Greene County (Leakesville, MS). The Wildcats go into the 4A Region 8 outing with a 12-12 record. In their last outing, Greene County was beaten by Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS), 52-49, in a league outing.
The Pirates now own a 12-10 record. They play next when they host Daphne for a 7A Area 2 outing on Wednesday, January 17. Fairhope will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 42-27 league win over Foley (Foley, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 16-3.
