California High School Basketball - Canyon nudges Silverado
January 13, 2024: Anaheim, CA 92807 Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Silverado Hawks (Victorville, CA), 69-62 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Canyon upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Comanches host Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a North Hills bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 11-8. Yorba Linda won 53-33 in their recent non-league bout against Foothill (Santa Ana, CA)
Next up, the Hawks clash with the Victor Valley Jackrabbits (Victorville, CA) in a Desert Sky bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Silverado will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Jackrabbits go into the bout with a 6-15 record after their 49-33 non-league loss to Quartz Hill (Quartz Hill, CA).
