The Indian Land Warriors basketball team (Fort Mill, SC), was nudged 45-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC)

The Vikings now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robinson for a 3A South Piedmont battle on Tuesday, January 16. Central Cabarrus will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-24 league win over Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-2.

The Warriors (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC). The Stallions come into the AAAA Region 3 battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, South Pointe edged A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC), 64-49, in a non-league battle.
