Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Clairton overwhelms Frazier
January 13, 2024: Clairton, PA 15025 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Clairton Bears (Clairton, PA) and the visiting Frazier Commodores (Perryopolis, PA), saw Clairton's basketball squad wallop Frazier by a tally of 63-27.
With the victory, Clairton improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Winchester Thurston (Pittsburgh, PA) to confront the in a WPIAL 2A 3 challenge on Thursday, January 18. The come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Winchester Thurston lost 62-53 in their recent league challenge against Greensburg Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA)
Next up, the Commodores confront the California Trojans (Coal Center, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 4 challenge, on Monday, January 15. Frazier will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 62-47 non-league loss to Charleroi (Charleroi, PA).
