January 13, 2024: Hatch, NM 87937 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) and the host Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM), saw Deming's basketball squad wallop Hatch Valley by a tally of 66-20.
With the victory, Deming improves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Mayfield won 49-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Roswell (Roswell, NM)
Next up, the Bears confront the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Hatch Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Desert Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 68-16 non-league loss to Artesia (Artesia, NM).
