In Saturday's non-league match, the host La Jolla Vikings basketball team scored a tight 48-41 triumph over the Desert Christian Academy Conquerors.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Canyon Hills Rattlers (San Diego, CA) in a City match, on Tuesday, January 16. La Jolla will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record. The Rattlers enter the match with a 10-10 record after their 32-19 non-league win over Preuss UCSD (La Jolla, CA).
