Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbard West overwhelms Elk Grove
January 13, 2024: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) and the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL), saw Glenbard West's basketball squad wallop Elk Grove by a tally of 59-28.
With the victory, Glenbard West improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Wheaton North won 62-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Sycamore (Sycamore, IL)
Next up, the Grenadiers confront the Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - East challenge, on Friday, January 19. Elk Grove will attempt to improve on its 5-17 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 14-8 record after their 54-15 non-league win over Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL).
