New Jersey High School Basketball - Ewing holds off Paul VI
January 13, 2024: Trenton, NJ 08618 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ewing Blue Devils (Trenton, NJ) and the visiting Paul VI Eagles (Haddonfield, NJ), saw Ewing's basketball squad hold off Paul VI by a tally of 61-56.
With the victory, Ewing improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Trenton Central (Trenton, NJ) to confront the Tornadoes in a Colonial Valley - Colonial challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Trenton Central won 56-43 in their recent non-league challenge against East Side (Newark, NJ)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Lenape Indians (Medford, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. Paul VI will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 53-43 non-league loss to Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ).
