West Virginia High School Basketball - University overwhelms John Marshall

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) and the visiting John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV), saw University's basketball squad wallop John Marshall by a tally of 92-55.

With the victory, University improves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Steubenville (Steubenville, OH) to battle the Big Red in a Ohio Valley battle on Monday, January 15. The Big Red come into the battle with a record of 11-3. Steubenville lost 64-60 in their recent league battle against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV)

The Monarchs (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Buccaneers come into the non-league battle with a 2-7 record.
