Virginia High School Basketball - Valley Thunder Homeschool knocked off by Lynchburg HomeSchool
January 13, 2024: Lynchburg, VA The Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Valley Thunder Homeschool Thunder to 33 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Patriots now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chatham Hall for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23. Lynchburg HomeSchool will meet a Turtles team coming off a 36-13 league loss to Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA). The Turtles record now stands at 1-5.
The Thunder (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Shenandoah Valley Academy (New Market, VA). The Stars enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Shenandoah Valley Academy was outscored by Andrews Academy (Berrien, MI), 62-14, in a non-league contest.
