Illinois High School Basketball - St. Teresa fells Mattoon
January 13, 2024: Mattoon, IL 61938 St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mattoon Greenwave (Mattoon, IL), 60-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Teresa upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL) to clash with the Braves in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 15-9. Mt. Zion lost 73-43 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL)
Next up, the Greenwave clash with the Urbana Tigers (Urbana, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Mattoon will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 62-22 league loss to Manual (Peoria, IL).
