North Carolina High School Basketball - Pine Forest can't hold off Riverside Christian Academy

January 13, 2024: Fayetteville, NC 28311

The Riverside Christian Academy Royals basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host Pine Forest Trojans to 36 in the Royals non-league victory on Saturday.

The Royals now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to American Leadership Academy-Johnston for a CAASC Eastern Airborne contest on Friday, January 19. Riverside Christian Academy will battle a Patriots team coming off a 32-25 non-league win over Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The Patriots record now stands at 6-6.

The Trojans (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Harnett Central (Angier, NC). The Trojans come into the 3A/4A All-American contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Harnett Central edged Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC), 49-11, in a non-league contest.
