Maryland High School Basketball - Riverdale Baptist beaten by Sage Hill

January 13, 2024: Upper Marlboro, MD 20774

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Sage Hill Lightning basketball team scored a good 69-53 triumph over the Riverdale Baptist Crusaders.

In their next game, the Lightning face the Hazel Green Trojans (Hazel Green, AL) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 15. Sage Hill will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 23-4 record after their 66-48 non-league win over Immaculate Conception (Montclair, NJ).

With the defeat, Riverdale Baptist moves to 12-15 on the year. The Crusaders host Takoma Academy (Takoma Park, MD) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, January 13. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 5-2. Takoma Academy won 54-3 in their recent league match against Calverton (Huntingtown, MD)
