Alaska High School Basketball - South Anchorage thwarts Chugiak
January 13, 2024: Chugiak, AK 99567 The South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) basketball knocked off the host Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), 32-19 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
The Mustangs now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Dimond for a test on Wednesday, January 17. Chugiak will encounter a Lynx squad coming off a 36-32 league win over West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Lynx record now stands at 1-1.
