Alaska High School Basketball - South Anchorage fells Chugiak
January 13, 2024: Chugiak, AK 99567 South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), 42-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, South Anchorage upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Wolverines travel to Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Chugiak will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lynx go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 48-21 non-league win over Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK).
