Lee-Scott Academy Warriors (Auburn, AL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bessemer Academy Rebels (Bessemer, AL), 29-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lee-Scott Academy upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Warriors host Macon-East Montgomery Academy (Cecil, AL) to play the Knights in a bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Macon-East Montgomery Academy won 38-35 in their recent league bout against Valiant Cross Academy (Montgomery, AL)

Next up, the Rebels play the Clarke Prep Gators (Grove Hill, AL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Bessemer Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-1 season record.
