California High School Basketball - Eastside nips Santa Paula
January 13, 2024: Lancaster, CA 93535 Eastside Lions (Lancaster, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Santa Paula Cardinals (Santa Paula, CA), 40-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Eastside upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Paraclete (Lancaster, CA) to play the Spirits in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Spirits come into the bout with a record of 4-0. Paraclete won 53-29 in their recent league bout against Salesian (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Foothill Tech Dragons (Ventura, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Santa Paula will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record.
