Washington High School Basketball - Sumner can't hold off West Seattle
January 13, 2024: Seattle, WA 98116 The West Seattle basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Sumner Spartans to 52 in the non-league victory on Saturday.
The now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Blanchet for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. West Seattle will battle a Bears team coming off a 48-42 non-league win over Lakeside (Seattle, WA). The Bears record now stands at 4-7.
The Spartans (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against South Kitsap (Port Orchard, WA). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, South Kitsap was nudged by Emerald Ridge (South Hill, WA), 42-29, in a non-league contest.
