Next, the Cardinals confront the Southwest Dragons (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region 4 District 28 challenge, on Saturday, January 13. Southside will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Dragons enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX).
The Golden Bears now possess a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Burbank for a 5A Region 4 District 27 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. Edison will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-4.
