The Bulldogs now sport a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Center for a 4A Region 2 District 15 match on Friday, January 19. Kilgore will encounter a Roughriders squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Marshall (Marshall, TX). The Roughriders record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Mexia drops to 1-2 on the season. The Black cats host Gatesville (Gatesville, TX) to encounter the Hornets in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 17.
