The Golden Wave now hold a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Starkville for a test on Tuesday, January 16. Tupelo will meet a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Madison Central (Madison, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-6.
With the loss, Saltillo drops to 13-4 on the season. The Tigers host New Hope (Columbus, MS) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, January 18. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 10-4. New Hope lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Lafayette (Oxford, MS)
