January 13, 2025: Chetek, WI 54728 Mondovi Buffaloes (Mondovi, WI) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Bulldogs (Chetek, WI), 49-45 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mondovi advances its record to 1-10 on the year. The Buffaloes host Boyceville (Boyceville, WI) to meet the Bulldogs in a Dunn-St. Croix match on Thursday, January 16. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 2-7. Boyceville lost 76-49 in their recent non-league match against Cadott (Cadott, WI)
The Bulldogs now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwestern for a Heart O'North match on Thursday, January 16. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 83-75 league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 5-4.
