New York High School Basketball - Columbus overwhelms Taft
January 13, 2025: Bronx, NY 10457 The Columbus Sharks basketball team scored 100 points and limited the host Taft Golden Eagles to 60 in the Sharks non-league triumph on Monday.
The Sharks now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Mott Haven for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. Columbus will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 59-56 non-league win over Walton (Bronx, NY). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Taft falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Walton (Bronx, NY) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 2-9. Walton lost 59-56 in their recent non-league game against Mott Haven (Bronx, NY)
