New York High School Basketball - Johnstown fells Delaware Academy
January 13, 2025: Johnstown, NY 12095 The Johnstown Sir Bills basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Delaware Academy Bulldogs to 47 in the Sir Bills non-league triumph on Monday.
The Sir Bills now have a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Middleburgh for a Section 2 Western - Mohawk game on Wednesday, January 15. Johnstown will confront a Knights team coming off a 74-47 league loss to Fonda-Fultonville (Fonda, NY). The Knights record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, Delaware Academy falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Bainbridge-Guilford (Bainbridge, NY) to confront the Bobcats in a Section 4 Midstate game on Friday, January 17. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 3-3.
