January 13, 2025: Booneville, KY 41314 Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls (Booneville, KY) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting June Buchanan Crusaders (Pippa Passes, KY), 73-34 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Owsley County advances its record to 4-13 on the year. The Owls / Lady Owls host Breathitt County (Jackson, KY) to face the Bobcats in a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 10-3. Breathitt County won 80-43 in their recent non-league match against Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY)
The Crusaders now own a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jenkins for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21.
