January 13, 2025: Nashua, IA 50658 The Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA) basketball crushed the visiting Postville Pirates (Postville, IA), 75-42 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Huskies now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Northwood-Kensett for a Corn Bowl bout on Friday, January 17. Nashua-Plainfield will play a Vikings team coming off a 58-46 league win over North Butler (Greene, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 11-0.
With the loss, Postville falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA) to play the Warriors in a Upper Iowa bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 8-2. South Winneshiek won 51-40 in their recent league bout against Kee (Lansing, IA)
