Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Pennsbury thwarts Abington
January 13, 2025: Abington, PA 19001 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Pennsbury Falcons (Fairless Hills, PA) and the host Abington Galloping Ghosts (Abington, PA), observed Pennsbury's basketball team knock off Abington by a score of 45-33.
The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Council Rock South (Holland, PA). The Golden Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Council Rock South prevailed over Bensalem (Bensalem, PA), 39-35, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Galloping Ghosts encounter the Council Rock North Indians (Newtown, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Abington will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
