With the victory, Chippewa upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Chipps host Orrville (Orrville, OH) to face the Red Riders in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Red Riders enter the match with a record of 9-2.
The Polar Bears now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Revere for a non-league match on Monday, January 13. Jackson will face a Minutemen squad coming off a 49-34 non-league win over Tallmadge (Tallmadge, OH). The Minutemen record now stands at 7-1.
