January 13, 2025: Correctionville, IA 51016 The Alta-Aurelia Warriors (Alta, IA) basketball were winner over the host River Valley Wolverines (Correctionville, IA), 52-40 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Storm Lake St. Mary for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Alta-Aurelia will play a Panthers team coming off a 65-28 non-league loss to South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-10.
With the loss, River Valley falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Siouxland Christian (Sioux City, IA) to play the Eagles in a Freelance bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Siouxland Christian lost 65-14 in their recent non-league bout against St. Mary's (Remsen, IA)
