January 13, 2025: Eagle Grove, IA 50533 St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA), 48-37 in a league match.
With the victory, St. Edmond advances its record to 3-7 on the year. The Gaels travel to Northwest Webster (Manson, IA) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 4-8. Northwest Webster won 64-36 in their recent non-league match against Greene County (Jefferson, IA)
The Eagles now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Forest City for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. Eagle Grove will meet a Indians squad coming off a 66-43 non-league win over Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA). The Indians record now stands at 13-0.
