Illinois High School Basketball - Nazareth Academy knocks off Hersey
January 13, 2025: LaGrange Park, IL 60526 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL) and the visiting Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL), observed Nazareth Academy's basketball team overcome Hersey by a margin of 58-40.
The Roadrunners (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Marist (Chicago, IL). The RedHawks come into the East Suburban Catholic challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Marist defeated Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL), 59-27, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Huskies battle the Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - East challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Hersey will attempt to better on its 13-8 season record.
