North Dakota High School Basketball - New Salem bests Killdeer
January 13, 2025: New Salem, ND 58563 The New Salem Holsteins basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Killdeer Cowboys to 40 in the Holsteins non-league triumph on Monday.
The Holsteins now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Garrison for a B District 8 game on Thursday, January 16. New Salem will confront a Troopers team coming off a 60-51 non-league win over Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] (Elgin, ND). The Troopers record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Killdeer falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Hazen (Hazen, ND) to confront the Bison in a A Region 4 game on Thursday, January 16. The Bison go into the game with a record of 5-7. Hazen lost 52-50 in their recent non-league game against Nedrose (Minot, ND)
