January 13, 2025: Sallisaw, OK 74955 The Sallisaw Black Diamonds (Sallisaw, OK) basketball edged the visiting Metro Christian Patriots (Tulsa, OK), 40-38 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Black Diamonds now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Checotah for a NOAA bout on Tuesday, January 14. Sallisaw will play a Wildcats team coming off a 46-36 non-league win over Valliant (Valliant, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Metro Christian falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Patriots host Holland Hall (Tulsa, OK) to play the Dutch in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Dutch go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Holland Hall lost 47-33 in their recent non-league bout against Coweta (Coweta, OK)
