Ohio High School Basketball - Riverside overwhelms West Geauga
January 13, 2025: Chesterland, OH 44026 The Riverside Beavers basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host West Geauga Wolverines to 41 in the Beavers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Beavers now have a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Chardon for a Western Reserve game on Wednesday, January 15. Riverside will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 50-37 league loss to Mayfield (Mayfield, OH). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, West Geauga falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Berkshire (Burton, OH) to confront the Badgers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Badgers go into the game with a record of 9-5. Berkshire lost 56-33 in their recent league game against Crestwood (Mantua, OH)
