Arizona High School Soccer - Estrella Foothills nudges Cactus
January 13, 2025: Glendale, AZ 85306 Fans at Monday's league battle between the Estrella Foothills Wolves (Goodyear, AZ) and the host Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ), saw Estrella Foothills's soccer squad hold off Cactus by a count of 3-2.
The Wolves (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ). The Padres enter the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Marcos de Niza tipped St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Cobras battle the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, January 15. Cactus will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Peoria (Peoria, AZ).
