Louisiana High School Soccer - Northwood nudges Evangel Christian Academy
January 13, 2025: Shreveport, LA 71129 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Northwood Falcons (Shreveport, LA) and the host Evangel Christian Academy Eagles (Shreveport, LA), saw Northwood's soccer squad hold off Evangel Christian Academy by a score of 2-1.
The Falcons (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Parkway (Bossier City, LA). The Panthers go into the Division II District 1 challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Parkway was nudged by Caddo Magnet (Shreveport, LA), 4-0, in a league challenge.
With the loss, Evangel Christian Academy moves to 4-12 on the year. The Eagles host Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA) to encounter the Cavaliers in a Division IV District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 14.
